PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Sea to Summit Nylon 66 Pocket Trowel is a lightweight and compact backpacking trowel designed for outdoor use and responsible backcountry travel. Its reinforced Nylon 66 construction provides a combination of strength and low weight, while the retractable handle allows the trowel to pack down into a compact size.

When fully extended, the trowel reaches 24 cm, corresponding to the minimum depth recommended for digging a cathole in accordance with Leave No Trace principles. The hollow handle also provides storage space for small items such as a lighter or toilet paper.

The trowel is designed to withstand extremely cold temperatures and is suitable for normal soil conditions. For very rocky ground or soil with extensive root systems, Sea to Summit recommends using its heavier-duty Alloy Pocket Trowel instead.
